zeewool Pillar of the Community 3660 Posts	Posted 01/30/2010 11:50 am I had seen a picture of a new penny (somewhere on this forum I believe), and the main device on the reverse was a shield. I don't recall the date on the coin. I was given a new penny yesterday, and didn't even look at it until today as I was looking for pennies to compare to a ' WAM' in another thread. I notice that this penny has a reverse of the capitol under construction. This is totally new to me, but I am sure that is old hat to you guys. How many new designs are on the newer (post Lincoln Memorial) reverse pennies? Are there more than just the shield and capitol types? These are all that I have seen. Report this Post to the Staff
