I am going to pick up a uncut sheet of 1995 2$ (16) and a sheet of (4) for 75$ on craigslist in about 3 hours.

You guys think this is an ok deal? Because I have to drive 40 minutes both ways.

Quick response please!

How quick is quick? Sorry didn't see this earlier. If it wasn't for the gas I'd say that was a pretty good deal.

They aren't millennium are they? If so worth the price of the gas too!

Ahhh, the picture wasn't clear enough on craigslist. So I skipped on that deal... But manage to get myself a sheet of uncut (4) 20 dollar bill star notes for under 90 dollars!

A bit new to currency collecting so I am not sure why it says AL, but the serial number is AL 06416774*. Right under it is L12.

The first letter means this. (I hope I'm right)

A Series 1996
B Series 1999
C Series 2001
D Series 2003
E Series 2004
F Series 2003A
G Series 2004A
H Series 2006
I Series 2006

The letter A means that its a series 1996 and the L is for the federal district which would be San Francisco. All I know about the L12 is that the L matches the L for San Francisco. Just like a $5 bill I have here. IG 37343582 A has a G7 bellow it.

A1: Boston
B2: New York
C3: Philadelphia
D4: Cleveland
E5: Richmond
F6: Atlanta
G7: Chicago
H8: St. Louis
I9: Minneapolis
J10: Kansas City
K11: Dallas
L12: San Francisco

I recently found this that helped me with the series letter http://www.moneyfactory.gov/images/..._Table_1.pdf that illustrates the series letter for newer currency denominations.
