My bank likes to hide their halves. I think they search everything. Metal in paper out.

"You will probably do much better searching rolls brought in by customers. Boxed haves will contain 99% searched/dumped coin, depending on the amount of hunters in your area. It's the reason I quit ordering boxes a year ago. I have searched approx $3500 in halves this year and all cust rolled, and have found several solid silver rolls (of 40%). Good luck."

yeah, well problem is, though I'm a fledgling hunter, when I've asked my bank for rolls customers have brought in, rather than boxes, they act like I'm crazy and say they don't have any; a lie of course, considering every bank must get at least a couple customers a day bringing in coin, right?

You may have banks that receive customer rolled coin on a daily basis; you will not have a bank that receives rolled halves every day. In fact, weeks and months may go by before a bank sees any halves come in. Thats why many crh'ers just order boxes.
