I was looking at two of my SBA I have here and I saw something that stood out. It looks like the broach on her shirt could be a Cud error. Is my thinking right on this or is it just how the coin is worn. Here's some pictures:

Not a Cud. Cuds only happen around the rim of a coin. When it stays only on the rim it's a rim Cud,when it goes into the field then it's a Cud. I can't really tell from your pic what's going on with your coin.

Here's a better picture of it. Is this just ware or something more? The picture on the right/bottom is of a different coin that doesn't have anything weird going on that I can see.

Looks like the top one is a wide rim and the bottom is a narrow rim. Some one please correct me if I am wrong. As far as the spot goes, I believe it is normal and is a result of die wear. WOLF

Neither one is a wide rim,IMHO. I think die wear.
