Hello,

What would you grade this? I think it may have been cleaned.

the crown is fairly strong, most likely a VF is my estimate, a Fine would have less details on middle of crown band, if cleaned will be worth less then normal. j

Yeah. Its a very scarce coin. But I did not want to pay that kind of money for a coin that might make VF-20 and be cleaned. No, I have not seen the dot and bar coin. What grade is it and how much do they want for it? Sounds like a nice coin.

it is definitely cleaned I grade it as an F due to wear on the band of the crown...and even though it is a nice key date I would probably not purchase this coin....I can buy one that has not been cleaned in the same grade as this one for less money even with the premium a dealer might charge.

Coin looks cleaned. Far too many scratches. Was it ICCS?
