hello all I just got my first star note and was wondering what series it was from its a 2009 with the serial of A 0478853 * I'm new to the paper money thing and was wondering if I have a keeper?

i forgot to mention its a $1 bill in uncirculated condition fresh from a bank stack no folds or wrinkles

It's a keeper only because it's your first star note. Most collectors want them to start with four zeros. Have you checked this site? http://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/

oh wow thats a pretty cool site thanks man...i found out its a 1st run series and the run size is 640,000

well the amount printed was close to 4 million but the run size is 640,000....why is that? sorry if its been asked before

CRAP I missed typing one of the 8's in the number ...its a second run ...nothing to special I guess
