That one's MS65 by today's standards, maybe a 64 in an old holder..

MS 64? Great looking coin and a better strike than many other New Orleans, congrats.

Sorry for the delay in posting this grade:

I don't agree with the grade, but I was glad that I only had to pay MS63 money for it:)

Wow I was not expecting that.

I would buy an MS-63 that looked like that any day!

I would bust that one out and toss that holder in the trash label and all. It is absolutely worthless. I would however pay MS63 money for Morgans like that any day, especially a New Orleans with that strike quality.

Congrats!

Boy oh boy, you got a great deal. Take it out of the slab. That is a 65 to me unless in hand it doesn't look as good as the photo.

Changed my opinion. If the photos are accurate. MS65. Beautiful toning. It is stunning.

In my opinion, the seller's photos are very accurate. I wish all sellers' photos were this good. I paid $61 for it and I think I got a steal. I think it would crossover to PCGS at MS64 at the very least, but I am not sure if it would make MS65.

MS64 but a very pretty looking MS64. So pretty one might argue the toning bumps it to MS65

Only a 63? They really need to get rid of those one-eyed pirate graders. Argggggg!

I thought I would post an update on this coin. I sent it into PCGS to crossover and it did not cross due to questionable color.
