Did anyone mention this one (which happens to have been gilded)?

1764 E-IDB 2/3 Thaler of Brunswick-Lüneburg, XF, toned, complete with.. a horse! The Latin legend, NUNQUAM RETRORSUM, translates roughly to "Never Backwards", or "Niemals zurück" in German, pretty fitting for a running horse, I guess.

Bump. The Malian 10 francs maliens piece from 1961 has a severed horse head on it. Okay, maybe not severed—just body-impaired.
