Quote: Nice gold there Thanks enworb. My brother in law had quite a few George V Half Sovereigns but unfortunately sold them all before I had a chance to buy any. Quote: Nice silver coins bryan10au It's nice when you can get these in good condition Thanks trout, they are really nice in hand unfortunately my photography skills are dreadful so they don't look that good in the photos. Here are some more coins purchased to go towards my set. 1953 3d 1953 6d 1964 1d

Hi Trout The type set I am working on is the first and last year of each monarchs reign (pre decimal coins) and to collect each coin of that year in VF or better.

Sweet great idea It's a pity that there were no Edward 7th coppers. Will be nice set when complete.

Bryan, that 1964 Penny looks prooflike. It's perfect in every single way!

Trout yes it is a pity there are no coppers for Edward but in a way it's good because that's 2 less coins I need to find. It is really starting to get hard to find the last 4 silver coins I need in VF, plus it seems to be surprisingly hard to find Half Pennies and Pennies in VF.
Thanks Goatie the coin looks even better in hand as stated earlier my photography skills are pretty dreadful but I am purchasing a decent camera soon for my trip to the US in Sept. so hopefully I might be able to take better pictures then. Also regarding the 64 Penny I think I did alright picking it up for just $2. Cheers Bryan

The only copper ones I have at the moment are the 1911 half penny and the 1964 penny. I did however just win a 1911 penny on the IAG auction and will hopefully get that soon. As far as the silver coins go the ones I need are the 1910 florin, 1911 shilling and florin and the 1952 sixpence. Cheers Bryan
