I just keep them in a baggie with all my other circulated world coins I've come across over the years from traveling or family bringing them back when they travel. I may start a folder or something for them one day.

I find so many you S coins that I'm starting to check for errors and varieties.My oldest is 1929. I figure maybe someone may want them sometime down the line.

I got a little American penny stash going.
I get 4 or 5 wheaties in a box. Actually popped a 1920 Lincoln an hour ago. To bad it's a little chewed on one side.
I keep all 1982 and older for "bullion" lol, I pick nice examples out of this for my collection.

As far as 1982 and up, I just keep the pretty ones and look for a few varieties as I learn about them.

The rest go back in the rolls to the bank.

It does not bother me one way or the other, actually I like finding a few here and there.

Although it seems most or more USA pennies are zinc, compared to Canadian pennies, so from that point of view I would not want to many USA pennies. (1982 USA vs 1996 CANcopper cut off dates)

Right now its a decent proportion. Out of the Yankee pennies I find, 40% to 60% will be copper, generally older pennies.
So when all is said and done I only have to return maybe a roll or so of USA pennies to the bank, per box.

Here he is.

Actually the other Wheat's I find are in decent condition. Too bad this one is rough as it is my oldest 'merican find.

I have this little collection of canadian pennies as well as other foreign coins I've found from circulation.
