The RCM and Teca-Print (a Swiss company) collabarated to produce colored pad printed NCLT for the collector market.
Teca-Print refers to their work as a pad printing process.
The advantage of pad printing over ink jet printing for coins is that a complete and detailed picture can be colored onto a coin.
RCM seem to be very happy with the process.

While the RCM does use pad printing for many of its coins, the coins discussed here are enameled not pad printed.
