I've failed on my search of Wide AMs as well. Started about 2 years ago, and haven't found one yet. I guess Los Angeles is a bad area.

Don't give up! I'm sure you'll find a 2000 "wide a.m.", their the most easy to find. Good luck, these are very under rated varieties,esp. the big one ( 1999). -joey

Found 5 this month. 4 1998's and 1 2000. But it took over $600 face.

They ARE getting hard to find.
Reasons: 1. Finite supply.
2. More people looking as more collectors become aware of them.
3. Newly minted cents being released diluting cent supply.
4. Normal zincoln attrition.
