Again I say, what is the problem? Yes, we all know the story is bunk. However, that IS an 1861 2.50 gold piece. I highly doubt it is either an S or the reverse of 58, so that would put it at about 350.00 based on the obverse. Did the fools pay too much? yep.
As with all of these, I have no problem with them as you get EXACTLY what you see in the pics. If people want to bid on what MIGHT be in there not showing, pfffftttt more power to them. And more power to the seller.
And if you ask these sellers, most of them will freely tell you they contract out to have these rolls made up by someone else.
a member here has shown that a lot of these4 guys buy the coins on the end from ebay and then place them in the end of the roll and say "it was always there". He has shown numerous times the buy and the auction they were selling
There is a reason why you don't find rolls like this at coin shows, cause dude would get run off the floor. Easy to have no morals sitting behind a keyboard.
