Congrats to Trickworm and the runner-ups!

Yes the gutterfold error (s) are the reason I payed $21.50 for it. This is a gutter fold error. It occurs when the sheet is folded or crinkled during one of the three printing runs. This one was folded during the 2nd run., as only the obverse is affected. The reverse is printed first then the obverse, then the seals and serial numbers and district letters. it remained folded through the 3 rd print, as you can tell from the extra paper and slight off center of the reverse, indicating it was still folded when cut. It most likely wasnt discoved until circulation as such errors are suppose to be destroyed when found by the BEP.
When I picked it up it was listed as and appeared to be a single moderate size gutterfold. I probally payed a bit on the higher size of value for this piece given the grade, but when it arrived and I removed it from the sleeve it was in, I found the 2nd smaller fold to the right of the big one. This 2nd fold only goes about half way up the note and almost touchs the serial number which would have slightly increased the value even more. Nontheless double folds are rarer then single folds and I was very pleased and excited with my purchase. The 2nd fold give it about 50% more value. Its hard to price currency errors since no two are ever the same. What part of the image is affected, the size of the error, which runs, not to mention normal rarity and grade all affect its value.
My other example of currency error fold can be found in this thread.
