Does brand matter? For me it does. I have spent quite a bit of time researching the various brands and I always recommend Airtites over the others. Kontains are nice and an acceptable subsitute.

Lighthouse makes very good products. They are a bit pricy, but for protection and beauty, they stand at the very top of the market.

There is a coin supply house called "Safe" something that I see at the shows that offer quality products also. They are a bit pricy also, but very well constructed. I will try to find their wesite this weekend and post it here.

As a good rule of thumb, I recommend a 5 to 10% ratio. For every hundred spent on coins, invest 5 to 10 dollars in supplies. All coins with values of $50 and higher should be in an Airtite or simular product. Why not spend a dollar to protect your coin?

Well regardless of what is right or wrong I am sitting here looking at 250 38mm airtites in the bulk! They arrived today so I am now looking at a "moving the Morgans" weekend. One thing is for certain, I LOVE my MORGANS so caring for them and protecting them is what all good parents would do!!!

I with ND and Susan. Today I purchased 500 flips and spent $68.37 for them. Why.? They are the best on the market. Like Longnine009 I use the 9" long Whitman plastic coin boxes to store anything with a value of $5.00 or more. All the coins I have regardless of what they are are heat sealed in the E.T. Kointain Saflips. My albums are all Dansco whenever possible. Then there are albums that I create for myself.

If you got a coin and wish to keep it nice buy the best supplies you can get.

I have finally found the company that I use for products and recommend them highly. They are not cheap, but worth every cent in my opinion. For anyone interested in showcasing their collection is a beautiful, safe manner, check out their inventory.
