1516I think this is a Polish grossus issued from occupied Germany. Size= ~17 mm.

Thank you, Petrus, for the good information. I had a suspicion that it was actually a German coin, not Polish. It was purchased in a three-coin lot. The others were as originally described; smaller than this coin. I missed the posting dates to show those two (1531 and 1532).
