Quote: LC-8D1 (slabbed as LC-8A1) I know every one makes mistakes... but it's not like the varieties of these are subtle... it's written right there on the ribbon! still a really really nice example

My Wellington "Cossack Penny," a recent auction pickup and TPG'd at MS-63. Undated, but widely understood to be an 1813 issue. BR 985, CH WE-13A, Withers 1505.

Recent pickup of a nicer grade Ships Colonies & Commerce (Lees 2), albeit with an old cleaning.

1960NYGiants: Lovely Vexator! Would we be grading that at about VF? (I've seen only 2-3 other ones, so that's always a question with me...ditto Blacksmiths in general, and imitation Tiffins to some extent.)
blargish: The Ships token is a looker, too. When I used to collect these, a few decades ago, I'd rule out any that didn't show me the whole flag and all the portholes, so yours checks all the boxes for me. Well bought.
