SAP you are right - having now a XRF verified ~ 250 World Contemporary Counterfeit Reference Collection at this point formed over the last (10) years - but I don't bother with such late pieces - mercuric amalgamated silvering could have visually disappeared from this coin's surface - I use the word "visually" as I have XRF tested a few specimens (not many) that did show 1-2% silver and <1% Hg on the surface but could not be detected by the naked eye - you think there is a shiny area with a loop under a lamp at the right anglewithin some deep letter motif, etc... it seems so since the weight does not match to a lower denomination so this error is not possible - therefore a CC. The fabric is nothing of a test strike or pattern ... the surface oxidation SUGGESTS a high copper alloy and not brass or bronze ... if zinc and tin are present then probably in single digits in the alloy composition.
