It's not like the coins are more valuable in a real mint set, so I wouldn't say you lost out. But it is a good lesson to make sure you know what you are buying.

If anything you got an extra couple of silver dimes, so you probably came out ahead.

Check the dimes see if there is the blunt dimes and pointed dimes perhaps thats why there is two dimes in each 1964 had two obverse designs heres a P9 or pointed nine proof

Thank you all again. The coins are still uncirculated...we paid $27 so not too bad. I will post a picture of the dimes when I return home on Thursday. I will also look for the blunt/pointed 9 to see if that's maybe why there are two dimes. I still have a lot to learn and thanks for all the info. :)
