I still love that Ritz clip. Maybe a bit stale by now...

Wow! Most of the clips you showed were huge! Did you buy all of these or did you find them yourself? Anyway, great error coins. :)

Nice collection of clips SilverDon. Didn't realise you collected error coins.

Thanks JimmyD and Errers and Varietys, I collect everything coin related, varieties, errors, bullion, NCLT, decimal, medals, foreign and domestic, not really focused at all, what ever is a good bargain, and catches my eye. I am like an old crow, with all kinds of shiny things at the bottom of my nest. When this topic started I likely had none of these, happy to be able to contribute a few years later. Wonder why so many cent clips in the early 1980's.

Those are some nice coins! I picked up a double clip 1975 dime today with one huge clip. Will have to find time to photograph it and post it in here.

I have a 1995 50 cent quad (4) clipped coin (2 rim and 2 Blakesly effect clips). I had ordered a case of 50 cent rolls directly from the Winnipeg Royal Canadian Mint and was lucky to stumble upon this while roll hunting. They shipped the rolls by Canada Post mail, and was it heavy. Finding this clip made it all worth it. It's my only 50 cent coin clip and I never found another one.

There you go Coinsplus! I like that one a lot. Now you need to protect it and put it in a 2x2 flip if you haven't already done so. :)

That is a great coin Coinsplus!! Quote:I had ordered a case of 50 cent rolls directly from the Winnipeg Royal Canadian Mint and was lucky to stumble upon this while roll hunting. I had ordered a case from 1994, 1995 and 1996 - and never found a clip. I did find a nice 1994 struck through (likely a liquid) on both sides. Since I don't collect 50c errors, I had it put in a CCCS hard slab and listed it on ebay.

@SPP-Ottawa: Very nice stuck through... my knowledge back then about coin errors was not that great... and I had a similar one that I found in the rolls - but unfortunately, did not keep it. :(
@Errers and Varietys: Thanks for the compliment. It's not in a 2x2, but instead in a plastic 50 cent coin capsule.

Coinsplus, your very welcome. That's even better that you put it in a capsule. :)
