All of these 2010 finds, but still nothing in my area. This morning I received an extremely lustrous dime. My heart raced as I slowly turned it over to view the date. 2008-P.  Oh well!  |

I got a 2010-D Hot Springs Quarter in my change today. It could very well be one of the 40 that I spent last Sunday at the car show. If so, it found its way to a Chinese restaurant ten miles away and then came back to me in my change!  |

Good News: I found a 2009-D LP3 Cent on the ground in a parking lot. Bad News: The obverse looks like every car in the lot ran it over!  |

1984-P LMC & 2001-P LMC, BOTH with die cracks on the obverse(minor on the 2001, but the 1984 goes almost all the way across in god we trust!!)... Out of $4 in rolled pennies...  |

Today we found a 2003 Panama 25 centesimos in a roll of quarters.

Just received my first Nat'l Park quarter in change this morning (in Iowa). A 2010-D Yellowstone Quarter. I really like the design.

For proofs found in change, is there much of a market? After all, most of them are in awesome condition that one that has suffered the life as pocket change has no place unless it is 50+ years old. They do not even show grades for AU proofs.
Just curious.

In today's change: a BU 1959-D Dime!  Also, at lunch, 3 CU 2006 consecutive-serial# $5 star notes in change from the grocery store self-checkout. Not really 'rare' (from a 3,200,000 run), but at least uncommon enough to where I should buy 15 lottery tickets with them!   Edited by DNA

Adam, although the reverse picture is reversed (mirror image), did you notice that it's a 1986 Statue of Liberty 5 dollar gold commemorative?
I have yet to find one of those in my pocket change. And I never will. And you won't either. EVER!

yeah sorry for not correcting the orientation I was excited to get it and forgot to check if it was correct. some guy came into my work and asked if he could get $5 for it I looked it over and said yes he ended up buying $1 worth of gas. |
