Gary. Any pre 1970 Jefferson nickel in unc is a good find or a 1982 or 83 Moonshine. nice 57 wheat always nice to find those is circulation. Bruce. |

I rescued an AU 1999 series ten dollar star note from circulation today. That's about as good as it gets for me.  I didn't do such a fine job of photographing it, however. I'll have to practice.   |

thingee, No it's not doubled but I wish it was!! It's just a nice clean 57 for being in circulation  That's why I posted it, fun to find something nice once in a while!!! Maybe a 55 next time lol. Moonshine |

No joke... several years back I was searching cent rolls and found a 1955/55. I was thrilled and called my wife who was away on vacation. I kept it for a while and eventually sent it to PCI and they sent it back as a fake. :(

Here in Oz, we get older New Zealand coins in change all the time, but I just received my first post-reform Kiwi coin, issued since June last year. It's a 50 cents, about the same size as an Aussie 10¢. My brother saw a friend trying to feed the coin, unsuccessfully, into a vending machine.
