1967 Cenntenial Presentation Set. Special cased coin set to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Confederation. This is the only year that Canada issued a Commemorative set that included all denominations. (There was a special $1.00 bill also). There were two different sets, the Proof-Like set shown and a specimen quality set that had a $20.00 gold coin instead of the medallion.

1966 nickel-brass Three Pence from Jersey, Channel Islands: The Norman Conquest in 1066 is one of the most important events in English history. Its 900th anniversary in 1966 was commemorated by a fine set of British stamps, but no mainland coins - nowadays, The Royal Mint issues lots of 50p and £2 coins for very minor anniversaries... It was left to the island of Jersey to commemorate the event, with three coins: a crown, a penny and the only commemorative threepence issued by the British Isles! Jersey did not just issue these coins as a commercial gimmick. As part of the Duchy of Normandy, it was politically integrated with England as a result of the Norman Conquest, and has remained so ever since: the Channel Islands are the last part of the former Duchy of Normandy to remain under the British Crown.
