man, I've been forgetting about my byzantine scyphate coins. I missed a while run in the 12th century. since they don't fit in with my regular coins I have special box for strange coin, very large coin and stuff that won't fit in 2x2 flips well.

well, here's the only one I can still post...and it's the ugliest one I have.

Its going to be interesting to see what happens when we get into the 800's and 900's. I personally think the Byzantines are going to be our only hope for getting through the dark ages.

I too lost several opportunities...in the 1180 and again in the 1160's. I got a nice one for the 970/980s!!
