Hey guys, new to this form and collecting coins. I currently reside in Katy Texas right outside of Houston and what piqued my interest into this coin collecting was seeing how much money you can make and all the mistakes that are made on the strikings.

Meaty Quote: what piqued my interest into this coin collecting was seeing how much money you can make Just one thing, something I don't believe in...Good luck. It seems the only rich ones are the writers of the "get rich quick with coins" books, many anxious and soon disappointed people buy them. It takes a lot of work, and knowledge to break even in this.

Hello. I'm from San Angelo, Texas. I just started collecting a few months ago. I'm an Activity Director at a local nursing home. I have a group of men I work with with Alzheimer's. I chose coin collecting for an activity and I've been hooked since.

Hello, Been collecting coins since childhood, have really never joined any clubs (except PSGC for grading) till now that my two boys 12 & 14 are interested in identifying and sorting my collection once they discovered they are valuable, lol! Started with wheat pennies years ago and now have close to 50lbs of wheaties! My boys love doing coin research and we want to build their college savings accounts with some of our coin sales but have difficulty identifying some which we will post for your expert help! Have several hundreds peace and morgans, 100's of errors, a few unknowns! I am retired Army Veteran after serving proudly for 22 years and live in New Mexico, U.S.A.! We use the United States coins MEGA RED expanded Deluxe Edition-2nd edition, the error coin encyclopedia and recently purchased a copy (#49) of the classification and value of errors on Lincoln cents after years of searching!! Am a professional detectorist (metal detecting) to find the rare coins left by others years ago! My boys are experts and we find lots of old coins, nothing of significance yet but it's coming!
