We call municipality a ``trou perdu`` which means it's an unimportant place in the middle of nowhere, even though it is a very historical place, founded by British pioneers in 1830 and taken by the french in 1844. I am one of the 100 English speakers out of 6000 people in that municipality, the rest are french speakers. We even own a second house, which was built in the late 18th century.
