the date is faint and E in WE is missing, as well as the word TRUST is missing altogether! Any comments?

For a couple years, there was a highly promoted rim Cud that covered IN TRUST, IIRC, it was a 1970s LMC. They called it an Atheist Cent.

I do have a Washington quarter rotation error, what do you think I should do with it? I welcome your suggestions.

Always save stuff like that until you have it checked out. Generally, rotations have to be 90° or more to be worth significant premium, but you never know what happens on ebay.

Hi all! My name is Mark and I am in Abilene, TX, USA.

I'm originally from WVa, but after 20 years in the Navy, wound up retiring in Texas. My grandfather had a coin collection featuring US coins from the nineteenth century. I picked up my interest in coin collection from admiring his coins when I was a child. He had to sell them years ago during hard times and so I started my own collection by going through pocket change in the 70's. I have been adding mostly inexpensive coins ever since.

I have just gotten really serious with it in the last year, however. I love the sense of history there is, for example, holding (inside the 2by2) my 1807 Draped Bust Half dollar. It isn't likely, but it is possible that Thomas Jefferson may have held the same coin in his hand. Historical rush for me! I found this forum yesterday while doing some research on Lincoln Memorial cents and look forward to learning a lot and contributing to the forums as well.

Hi all

Sorry , I saw this thread only today

I am Krishnan , 26yrs , am from India.Doc by profession.

Starting collecting coins from the age of 12...took a break from the hobby as I went to med school...

I used to collect anything and everything that interests me... I have coins of about 56 countries and a good number of British India coins, recently I became interested in the commemorative coins of Republic of India. So my present mission is on that :) will post when I complete the commemorative series.

Thank you all for accepting me to this family!

Born, raised, and live in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
Found this forum (and site) when searching for info on US Large Cents (I've got one from 1841 that I've bought for 1000 roubles - that would be about $35).
Then noticed the "How far back can we go" (it was only at 1780-ish back then) and got hooked - and now, I think February 29 is the best day to join!
