Quote: Egad Cabowabo - $6k in melt. Unbelievable. MOSO239, regarding that post, I spoke to that guy via Facebook. According to him it was a random collection dump in Frisco Texas, a newer suburb outside Dallas. He was as amazed as anyone that he scored like that. It's a Youtube video. Yes, I could tell it was legit. It could "potentially" have been any one of us who have relationships with banks during our roll hunting activities. No doubt, each of us could relate to the reaction and excitement this guy had and felt. I recently had a similar experience. I know it's a YouTube video, I posted it.

Mos0239, Fantastic Score, its a CRH dream to find a score like that. My first week I found silver, It was over three weeks last year before I scored silver, I searched 12 boxes and 5 contained silver, 2-90%ers 1-53D Bennie, 1-58 Bennie, and 8-40%ers,1-66, 5-67 and 2-68's, plus a bonus 80%er 1964 Canadian half dollar. I also pulled 1-76S Clad Proof, and 23-NIFC, 1-04D,1-08D, 1-11P, 2-17D, 1-17P, 8-18D, and 9-19P's. I say that was a very nice first week to the new year. Hope everyone had a great week whether they scored silver or not.

I hit seven branches total today with six having coin... At the fourth one (as with most) I was getting $50 each of Nickels and Dimes. I asked the teller (like I almost always do) if they had any half dollars... usually, it's a "no", but she said she did and said "you might like them, some might be silver"... she had $3 loose and $20 in a bag... so I hear her pick up the $3 loose and hear THAT sound we all love... sure enough, there's a 1964 and 4 40%-ers... I get to my car to check out the other $20 and there are 14 more silver coins including 4 more '64s! The breakdown (19 silvers total - 5 90%, 14 40%): 1964 2 1964-D 3 1965 3 1966 4 1967 3 1968-D 2 1969-D 2
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!
