Yeah it does :) It is one of the 'youngest' of the lot of 20 silver coins my mother found in the house where she lived as a child. Others include a 2 reichsmark, a few austrian Coronas several 20 kreuzer coins from 18th century and a large silver Trier thaler 1771. For the exeption of several Coronas, all are quite worn out. But that's off topic now :) More on topic here's a picture (well, a scan) of the mentioned thaler. It's not a total lowball, but I think it wouldn't grade high :p But it sure has a lot of histroy (regardless that it spent the last 100+ years hidden in mother's house).

Junk box finds don't get much more historic than this: an 1821 St. Helena halfpenny.

A bust dime found in a roll many years ago. The shield and 10 are barely viable.

Quote: Just had the year and denom. confirmed in US grading forum That's one of the best lowballs I've ever seen! Just barely enough to tell what it is...perfection. NICE! My I'm weird but I think the price should go up as the grade drops with these. In my twisted scale, I would call this -70. Not many coins can withstand the test of time and still be legible and not severely damaged.
