mritchie77 Valued Member United States 100 Posts	Posted 08/02/2015 2:56 pm Anything 1950 or older (where it has the "pay to the bearer clause") I buy for my collection along with US notes and silver certs. I figure they are over 50 years old and don't deserve to be destroyed. Before I got there any small head notes were automatically pulled to be sent to the FED for destruction. They have since just let me buy them. The non-clause notes 63+ I buy if they are CU. I have gotten a couple of $20s and $50s this way. I am hoping for the day someone comes in with a gold certificate...however ratty it might be. A man can hope haha Report this Post to the Staff
