atchisonbj Valued Member United States 293 Posts	Posted 08/18/2015 12:12 pm Wow cool fool 2 . . . it looks your 1944 "No P" Nickel is the Famous 1944-P Henning Nickel . . . the famous phony nickel made by Francis Leroy Henning . . . He operating I believe on the east coast either New Jersey or Pennsylvania as I recall. He actually faked like five different dates the first was 1939-P. What got him caught was he used his 39-P reverse die on the 1944-P. As we say in this business knowledge is power. Report this Post to the Staff
