Count me as another that can't get excited about 3 cent nickels. I think it might be the lack of interesting toning that I've seen. I'm not sure why though since it's the same combination as buffalos and jeffersons (75% copper, 25% nickel) and I've seen plenty of them with interesting toning

I do own one though, but just to go in my type set.

I try to collect all coins but Gold ones are just a bit on the expensive side.

I guess I'm fussier than most here. Classic series I don't collect (other than as part of a type set):

- 2 cent
- 3 cent
- Half Dimes
- shield and Liberty nickels
- Barber coins
- Peace dollars
- gold dollars
- early gold and other expensive stuff (earliest copper and silver, patterns, etc.)
