The ones that I was unsure of, I got authenticated by Roger Doo, the ex-curator of the numismatic collection of the Shanghai Museum. The value of the 8 coins is in excess of $2000, and I still have all but the two most common pieces. This knife coin was broken at the handle. I remember the coin collection in the Shanghai Museum, it was impressive - I recommend everyone who's traveling there to visit it. Entry is free! And honestly, I couldn't see that the handle was broken on the pic - I guess it was somehow put together again? |
