Later, there was a re-organisation of districts of Kotah when the borders of Jhalawar got altered. In 1896.AD, Rana Zalim Singh was deposed by the British the area became part of Kotah once again. Akbar and Aurangazeb sacked it in AD.1561 and AD.1679 respectively. Internal dissensions spelt disaster to Rajputs who fell to the Maratha power. Now it is part of the state of Rajastan. Rulers Bijay Singh 1752-1792.AD Bhim Singh 1792-1803.AD Man Singh 1803-1843.AD Takhat Singh 1843-1873.AD Jaswant Singh 1873-1895.AD Sardar Singh 1895-1911.AD Sumar Singh 1911-1918.AD Umaid Singh 1918-1947.AD Coins of Jodhpur bear irrelevant dates.
