-Thanks "jbuck"

This next solid pair of 50 Piso radars are interesting because of a slight design revision in the latter 207c banknote:

Thanks again "jbuck"
- here's another solid 6 radar from 1998 (P183b the series prior to the "New Generation" current series). It also features President Sergio Osmena (at a later stage of his life) & this year was the first to see a red serial number on the fifty Piso:

This 2005 solid 8 radar has the last signature combination of Macapagal-Arroyo & Buenaventura (rather than Macapagal-Arroyo & TetaNGCo). I had no idea 2005 was a signature change-over year when I bought the note but have since discovered this on the very helpful Bank Note Museum:

Came across this webpage that identifies various categories of "special" banknote serial numbers, including some types I'd never considered.

See: https://www.noteworthy-collectibles...ial-numbers/

Nice page. Thanks for sharing.

If you didn't consider the serial number special than it probably isn't. With the exception of the "3 Stripes" (as I do collect these) I would be wary to get too excited about "paired ladders" or even matching radars with different prefixes. I've seen some Australian (& other) websites with these notes listed for extremely high premiums & I just don't get their appeal (esp if they've been released by the central bank in sets, which is often the case for Low # notes). They are simply sets made up by dealers (or released by the banks) & perhaps some cultures might value certain numbers (just like individual collectors may go for birthday notes). This site may come in handy for those dealers who want to jack up a banknote's price because it has a fancy SN but I would caution the average collector of World banknotes to focus on bona fide special serial numbers (see my link: https://sites.google.com/view/notap...rial-numbers br / ) which applies to CDN special numbers. Here's a "no-brainer" 10 Rupee radar (solid 2's) from India (P-89c):

Post-Your-World-Radars,-Repeaters,-&-Ladders!

BTW: solids are 111111 not 000000 as I've seen on some sites (b/c 000000 are typically "Specimens.") and NOT 0000001 nor 100000 (these are #1 and 100,000 or Million numbered notes).

Very nice "IGE." I picked up that P-111 over a year ago & was so excited to get it since it reminds me of the Danube & the castle which we explored on our last day in Budapest.

I was also excited to pick this radar up from Saint Pierre & Miquelon. This is a tiny island off the coast of Newfoundland (Canada) which remains a French territory & for some reason (or another) I've always wanted to get one of these & possibly a few others of higher denomination:
