Dorado, Scots --- great examples!
@Scots, out of ignorance on my part, are those Italian notes fractional? I thought a Lira was the unit prior to the Euro.

@CelticKnot, I thought it would be ok to post them since they were fairly short-lived, small denomination notes, later in the 1940's they were replaced by coins.

Thanks all for the comments about the IoM notes. Here's something similar; The States of Guernsey 10 Shillings. Simple, but with a certain kind of beauty.
