The 50 pfennige note is from the town of Uk. The hyper-inflationary note from Voehrenbach has some great imagery...... The proud looking French cockerel stands on the top of a bucket-load of money (debt), with the down-trodden German Eagle at the very bottom - being squeezed to submission under the sheer weight of the amount (Treaty of Versailles reparations).
