So whoever now or later will be interested in this set - will be able to get it close to issue. The rare case could happen in theory - very less collectors will be interested now in the set, they will settle in the collectors hands, and if offered for sale - with some premium. Like "phenomenon" of 2012 Farewell For penny Roll: Original mint packaging roll possible to find for CAD 5-10 but the "farewell" packaged rolls sold for CAD 60-130 (production of 20.000 rolls) Report this Post to the Staff

The only thing I thought about is, the 2012 old dollar and toonie coins all made it into circulation as well as the ones in sets. So there were an over abundance of them. These 2017's are just available in the sets and not in circulation. So down the road, those who may need a 2017 non commemorative coin they'd have to buy and break open a set.
