publius Pillar of the Community United States 807 Posts	Posted 08/19/2023 8:53 pm This bronze medal shows the Fort St Vrain nuclear power plant near Platteville Colorado, and the visitor center, which was modelled on the old trading post which became the eponymous fort. But if you didn't happen to have a copy of the visitor center booklet entitled "From Arrows to Atoms", with the arrowhead motif on the cover, you might never make the connection! I think that this completes my type collection of these, as I have several of the American Museum of Atomic Energy examples. The blue plastic ones aren't as impressive (NY Worlds Fair and Museum of Atomic Energy) - cheap comes to mind - but yes I have them too. I have several more related specimens I should photograph and show off, although they're not new acquisitions. That ORNL irradiated dime, with the label that almost looks typewritten, is an interesting variation. Do you have any of the ones labelled for other events and locations, besides the Museum, and the 1964-65 New York World's Fair? I know I've occasionally seen ones marked for some kind of temporary or traveling exhibit. I just have a couple of the common ones, to use as props when making presentations.
