Skippy Topaz Valued Member United States 256 Posts	Posted 10/18/2024 6:10 pm Picked up this Abraham Lincoln Coin / Medal (about the size of a half-dollar) at a Flea Market today because I thought it was cool, has crazy high relief (looks like Honest Abe frozen in Carbonite) AND it has an Eagle on it which is an automatic sale :) Not exactly sure how old it is because I'm having trouble finding the exact on online other than a Numista page that says it has a Numista Rarity index 97 but doesn't say when it was made.. It does say the company ceased operation in 1972 so I guess it's at least that old and it appears to have been design by prominent sculptor and medallist Ralph Menconi, so learned something new :) Edited by Skippy Topaz 10/18/2024 6:11 pm Report this Post to the Staff
