Great stuff guys, I semi noodle with two ladies who give me coins from a mission shop they run and there are always lots of low value Aussie coins.
Through them I have a a nearly complete run of 5 cent coins from 1966 to 2018 with only the elusive 1971 missing 9The last bag gave me an AU 1972) and all of my coins are at least EF from 1978 onwards and including 1966 - 68.
I also have most of the 10 cent coins to the mid 2010s and again a good mix of 20 cents and 50 cents. Dollars however elude and before I bought my collection, just 2 of the $2 coins.
On the other hand I have 4 silver 50 cent coins, 2 x $10 silver coins and the $5 1988 Canberra coin with a Commonwealth bank bag and label.

PrincTane, it's the 1972 5c which is normally elusive, so if you have AU 1972, you have done very well. Steve :)

@David Graham yes I look at plenty of 50c pieces and it's the first I've seen.

@ryurazu - very nice shiny specimens! Are you talking about the NCLT Remembrance 20c? I have yet to find a single NCLT 20c coin in circulation. More tight wads in SEQ maybe?

Yeah NTLC 20c I think mostly 2015 minted have maybe 20 taken all from circulation.
Was panic that I wouldn't find a 2019 JC 50c ever and would have to go buy one. Luckily showed up :)

A rather dismal noodle of 500 $1 coins. Got the usual commemoratives but none in really nice condition. Having realised there are 2 suffrage varieties I picked up the missing one however not the best condition. Nice 1984 and a 2019 JC effigy. Just the 2019 U privy mark and no Coin Hunt dollars so am lagging far behind Coaster with his single coin left to find.

A mixed bag. Got 2x 2004 large heads (always welcome), some commemoratives, and a 2001 I R B spaced (not pictured) which I was missing. I didn't realise there is a third 2001 IRB variety to look out for but having examined some specimens am not sure if there is just some grease causing the I RB to look like IRB. Need further investigation there. Also, just so Princetane doesn't feel forgotten, a banged up 1981 Kiwi 20c.

Nice finds David. I think I have only ever found one large head 2004 20 cent. The centenary of Canberra is a nice find too.

Cool. I didn't realise they were that hard to come by.

I popped into a CBA branch this week and asked if they had any $1 or $2 bags. The lady said she had 2x $2 bags (1000 coins per bag). With only $4010 in my account and mortgage due next Monday I had a dilemma - play safe and go for 1 bag or risk defaulting on my mortgage if I didn't get the money back in the bank in time. The noodling voice in my head won so I grabbed both bags - and glad I did. Over several evenings after work (and a glass or two of wine) I noodled through the 2000 coins. The first bag yielded some good coins including a couple I didn't have. The second bag scored big time with an aUNC 2013 purple coronation!! And to think I had a 50/50 chance of missing that purple big boy if I just went with 1 bag. Good finds that I didn't have in my collection include: 2013 Coronation Mr Squiggle (himself) Olympic (green) 2011 Normal Also got some good 75 years of Peace for trading. Still on my hit list: Olympic (red and yellow) Mr Squiggle (Black board) Remembrance (rosemary) 2015 War graves
