Whats the quality of the coins. Good or very crappy?

I'd describe my set as pretty good quality. Every field, reverse and obverse, are super clean. Some dots are not fully formed, only on the reverse of the 50 cent (3), 25 cent (a few more) and the 5 cent has more than a few incomplete. The dots on the rest of the reverses were good, and all obverse were good too. The biggest disappointment is the toonie. Very little detail on the bears fur, I mean, you better look hard. The obverses are all great. Didn't make me go Wow like the George 50 cent a while back. The dime really stood out though, she's a beauty. Wonderful detail on the Bluenose. Overall, I'd recommend it.
I wonder if mcshilling sees the same stuff as I do? He'll probably reply with his views, so hang tight.

All the coins in the set I received look great! My biggest beef is that it's not the easiest to get the pliofilm the coins are in back into the sleeve after pulling them out.

My post office has a bunch. Going there soon to look at them all and pick the sets of better quality. Give an update in a few days. Going to put them under the microscope.

Are you seriously going to walk into your post office with a microscope and ask them to open up all the sets while you examine each one? Haha, they are going to love you

No, I go with my eye piece and pick the best set. I do it all the time, there's a lot of crappy coins in those sets. Then I scope it at home and get into the real science of the strike. I havent bought mint product since 2012 because to me it was nothing but junk.

Quote: Are you seriously going to walk into your post office with a microscope Just hilarious! I can see it in my mind. . Thanks for the reviews guys, and hope it helps with some future purchasers. Quote: My biggest beef is that it's not the easiest to get the pliofilm the coins are in back into the sleeve after pulling them out. whole heartedly. Enough that I think I'll trim some off the length seal at one end. It'll wreck the envelope sooner or later, all the fidjitting you have to do to get it in right and deep enough. Quote: This last set I got is almost perfect MS67 Sounds like a score. Congrats. Mine are better than MS65, but they won't be TPG'd. Can't wait for some good pics. Quote: No, I go with my eye piece...Then I scope it at home We know that's the case, but that was funny! Let us know what you think when you can. Maybe some microscope pics perhaps? We're a bit off the loonie topic and looking like an NCLT post now, but, the bin is on a roll, and we're having fun, so I hope it doesn't get moved. I know.... Dear Mods,...... .

Here are some close ups of the 2003 [1952-2022] Loon Dollar from the set. Study the micro shot for dings and blemishes. There's a few but over all the coins aren't that bad.

The wake he's pushing looks great in that shot. Thanks. Glad you're happy with the set. How is your toonie?

I have a set ordered from CP and a set from the RCM. I agree with @Cdncoins the film pack of coins is very difficult to get back in an already very cheap flimsy sleeve. It blows me away that knowing/experiencing that that someone would open and examine multiple sets. The overall quality between the sets will not be that significant.
