AND the Chinese Panda arrived today. It is now added to the collection, along with the coins in the above post. I kind of like the 2013 design better, but that's not saying anything bad about this one. It's like saying I like chocolate ice cream more than vanilla. I still love vanilla though! This is still one very nice looking coin.

I went to the LCS today but stopped at the gas station next door to get a snack first. In my change, I got a cent, but not any old cent. It was a Wheat cent. And not any old Wheat cent. It was a 1924. And not any old 1924. I noticed the SLIGHTEST hint of a mint mark (barely visible in the pic, but there), so when I went into the LCS I asked the dealer to look at it under one of his nice microscopes. He said yep, looks like a D. That's a hole filler for my second Lincoln Cent album. Here's a pic of the front (scanner is being difficult so no pic of back at this time).

Todays swap meet score. (I still don't have a decent camera to take pixs with so no pics for now. Sorry!)
1990 P/D mint set 1968 canada 25 cent (silver) 1952 lebanon 50 pisatres (silver) 1968 canada 25 cents and 10 cents proof 1919 canada lg cent 1953 vaticam city 5 lire 1957 vatican city 10 lire
I paid 4 bucks for the mint set and the group of coins I paid $3.50. Not bad.

One of today's purchases at the Lockheed coin show in Fort Worth...and the second gold ANYTHING I have ever bought (to go along with my US 1911 quarter eagle). She's a 2013 1/10 oz. Chinese Panda, and the scratches are in the mint packaging, which I have not removed it from as of yet. The coin itself looks far better through the packaging. Liking the gold! And the second purchase of the day was this 2014 one ounce Canadian silver maple leaf. I like the new details in the radiating etched lines (though it makes photographing a little difficult).
