I know that look and I think I know it looks way better in hand than in the photo.

Just bought this. Not in hand yet.

Never bought a token or So Called Dollar before.

I like the 5 flags on the front of the UN monetary unity pattern. Not a fan of the UN, monetary unity, Roosevelt, Bretton Woods and the like.

Got outbid for a fantastic one on ebay a month or two ago at roughly double what I paid for this one. Went over budget several times in that losing effort before coming to my senses. Much happier at this price level, hopefully I feel the same when it is in hand.

I recently added this piece to my Christmas coin collection. My daughter really likes it.

Just got back from a coin show, bought a 1965 Mexican Peso which I thought was pretty neat.

Thank you. These things are 20 to50 times cheaper than buying Early American Gold coins.

All right, I've been so focused lately on buying high end slabbed coins that I've been neglecting my 7070 album. There are still a bunch of fairly common coins in it that I threw in because I happened to have them handy, fully intending to upgrade at a later date. And then I forgot...

Nothing terribly exciting or valuable, but here are a couple of upgrades I just got in the mail:

Do coin collectors ever narrow their focus, or do we just diversify?
I made the mistake of thinking out loud while at the LCS that World Coins would be fun.
$100 and 439 coins later.

Mostly European between 1860 and 1960 in above average condition. I'm just getting started, but I've found a Cuban, some African, earlier Carribean, South American and Russian. Next stop, the Acetone.

At the very least it would be fun to look through occasionally.
