Hi, here is a coin that I picked up today. It is a Schilling from Prussia, that was minted in Königsberg (E) in 1791. Today, the city is called Kaliningrad and forms a Russian exclave that is fully surrounded by Lithuania and Poland.   Even though the planchet has some defects, I like it. Best regards Potsdam |

I picked this up a few weeks ago. It is a Silver Quirate minted during the reign of Sultan Ali Ben Yusuf while Spain (Al-Andalus) was partially occupied by the Almoravid. The store identified it as being made between 1083-1143; A little research indicates that it was probably made from 1106-1143.   |
