With my budget being quite restricted of late I am looking more for interesting than expensive!

Another find from the 99 cent listings... seller had this listed as a no-date, but it is clearly discernible as a French 1793 (l'an 5) 2 Sols of Louis XIV minted in Strasbourg; this is the FRANCAIS version (the legend has FRANCAIS, there is a variant with FRANCOIS.) A big old chunk of copper (23g, 34mm diameter and 3mm thick) -- it's been really, really beat up but the historical aspect is more interesting than the coin itself to me in this case.

I was just on the uploader and it was working fine for me. The new uploader seems to be a hit or miss depending on what browser you're using it in. It seems to work better in Chrome than in Internet Explorer.

Couldn't pass on this GF token for $3 when I saw the name; it's a perfect match for one of my bottles!

Thanks Teslacoil. I bought one of the silver Krugerrands this year as well, my first coin from South Africa.

I'm just starting to get into German States coins, and I couldn't pass this up for $15.
Might have more coming depending on how a couple of things pan out tonight...
