Some discussion on the Round 8 coin - my well circulated 1922 Grant Half Dollar.

There is a long running thread in the USA Commemorative forum where I shared my learnings, challenges, joys and disappointments in this pursuit of a honestly circulated type set. -

I am fired up as a collector and always looking for 'downgrade' coins

These coins were not minted to circulate - and to the small community of us who pursue the truly challenging collection of these coins ... well - we wait forever for 'better' lower grade honest coins to appear.

So - to close this ... Round 8 coin is my PCGS FR02 lowball Pop 4/0 - I am truly pleased to have found it.

Nickelsearcher, I think the lowball collectors are bringing a fascinating angle to collecting. Now that I am back in the game, I think I see more coins that are being advertised as lowball. Whether they are REALLY lowball it another question!
