@SnoopyDoo
Not sure what you are trying to imply by "The new owner of my collection also chose not to list my collection, or his/her's on "PastExpiry" [2013b.com] website for personal reasons. I think your all figuring that one out."

 Congrats Past Expiry on the pair brought together by you, and you had them credit you on the label, did the proceeds go to you, or the two individuals who had the notes listed on your website? Just curious.

What does "curated by Project 2013B" mean, specifically?
Is that two separate single bill owners asking you to auction their mutual pair for them?
(Any plans to make your DB publicly searchable? Sure would facilitate pair-making even if it's mostly by hunter / gatherers)

https://goccf.com/t/364714&whichpage=25#4448846 br / SnoopyDoo, Some co-owners choose me to grade and auction their matched pair on their behalf; they receive the auction proceeds minus applicable auction fees, grading fees, and my small service fee. The last two auctions done this way sold for the highest and 2nd highest price paid for a VF25/VF20 matched pair. Despite matching up over 200 co-owners, auction prices seem to be heading UP. Most matched participants either buy the matching note from the other owner, or attempt to sell their pair on eBay—though I have not observed any such sales this year. Quite a few reach an impasse where the owners cannot agree on a course of action, or one owner wants to only buy the other owner's bill at a low-ball price, or the seller thinks their bill is worth some unreasonable amount. i.e. human nature. "Curated By Project 2013B" simply means the project physically brought the notes together after detecting a match in its database and receiving photo verification from both owners. It is RARE that both owners of a matched pair live in the same state. Everything about the project is at https://guide.2013b.com

Quote: (Any plans to make your DB publicly searchable? Sure would facilitate pair-making even if it's mostly by hunter / gatherers) At this time, there are no plans to make the serial number list publicly available. Initially, the list was public when the project launched in 2021; however, it quickly became apparent that scammers were exploiting it by registering their "DC" bills as "FW" bills and then selling the "DC" bills on ebay at inflated prices. Additionally, several members on my list have expressed that they do not wish their serial numbers to be made public. Furthermore, in many cases where matches have occurred, one of the two co-owners has yet to respond. Therefore, even if the list were public and you came across a matching note on ebay, there is no guarantee that the other owner would respond. In a few instances where responses were received, the serial number was correct, but the bill turned out to be the wrong series or wrong denomination. Several people also responded that the used to have the bill but no longer had it. At least 2 people told me their bill was destroyed in a house fire. Finally, there was an incident in which an individual misused my list to create a copycat website. That list (and any of my previous public lists) never have the owner and contact information, so any match made on the copycat website would have to register on my (original) website. The copycat even named their website very simililarly to Project 2013, which has created a lot of confusion.

The record price for a matched pair graded VF25/VF20 was $3,750. For those that want a matched pair for their collection but find 3K+ a bit pricey, a lower graded VF20/VF20 pair is up for auction on Sunday April 26. Current bid (as of April 24) is $1,450 https://www.greatcollections.com/Co...roject-2013B

Quote: The only ones of those in the duplicate range are 059 and 063 Not sure which note you are referring to as none of my notes are close to those 2. I omitted the last digit of the serial number of my notes.

The duplicate ranges for the 2013 "B" Star Notes are between s/n B00000001* and B00250000*, and between B03200001* and B09600000*
So, what mpolo was referring to is that your two bills with s/n starting with "B059" and "B063" are the only two in those ranges.
