Now that we're starting to see the light thru this Covid situation and things are opening back up, hopefully we will start finding more notes again! Some more articles are in the pipeline right now. I will share when they come out! Stay safe and healthy everyone!
Hello everyone here's the details of the 9th match pair made tonight!
Several months ago I found a Star Note in a Coin Store that matched a Star Note that I had. Very excited, bought it and oops, Covid.
Problem was the coin store I found it in, was in Germany. (I used a link from the CCF page for MA Shops) Lot's of back and forth communications, but the world was shut down to shipping between Countries.
They then cancelled my order, saying sorry. I panicked and was able to get them to pull and hold the note till shipping reopened.
I was finally able to re-purchase it, and have it sent. That was weeks ago.
Tonight it finally made it to my house and we now Officially have our 9th matched pair.
Here's the details of both notes:
My note is 2013 B0443 6550* , F4, FWF105, 86 Germany note is 2013 B0443 6550* , F4, F16, 1
I'm attaching a quick scan of them, and am working on paperwork to submit for Grading. I plan on sending them out Monday morning when the Post Office opens, Express-Priority, and will order the same express speed on the grading.
I didn't want to say anything until it was actually in my hand as so many things could and did go wrong. But months of waiting paid off.
Yes, Email Mr Karol Winograd. Most submit their lists of notes to him, then each month when he updates the list, he sends an updated list to everyone. His email is Kwinograd at snet dot net Good luck! Thanks for participating! I hope everyone follows your lead of getting involved and having fun with us!
Here's the most recent pair back from grading, also check out the new video out yesterday about this project, hopefully it will get more people looking and reporting their Star notes!
I'm new to money collecting and find it to be a very fascinating and exciting hobby. I stumbled across this project and started going through my star notes and found these two that fit the criteria of the Duplicate SN Project. Wishing everyone best of luck in your searches.
Very cool Finding24me! If you watch the above video link on YouTube and scroll down, there's an easy to use submission form for you to enter your note data and be added to the monthly mailing list when new notes are added! Very excited you've joined this fun and fascinating hobby! And welcome to the CCF Community. Another fun community is the Silverpickers Discord channel. Great place to share and learn no matter what level you are!
