That's great even for a nickel roll find, but getting one in a cent roll is just incredible!

A road Indian is still (usually) better than an LMC. Nice find!

How often do the rest of you find S-mint LMCs? I find them all the time in circulation. They just go with the other copper.

Great finds! Numisma I find quite a few S mint cents also-i keep them all not even sure why but I do. Not sure of the ratio to be honest but a guess would be about 3x as often as I find a wheatie

I personally only find about 1/3 as many S-Mint as Wheaties

Sportsfanatic, I bet that's because you live in IL. I live in the Pacific NW, so I think the proximity affects the amount of S mints I find.

I just picked up my first 2 boxes of non-2015-D cents! No wheat enders, but in the second box there's a Young Head Elizabeth II Canadian on the end (minted prior to 1965).

Box 1 totals:
-9 Wheats (1919-D, 37, 42, 44-S, 46-S, 51, 52-S, 56-D, 57-D w/ filled 5)
-8 Canadians (oldest: 1962)
-17 2009-D
-2 toned BU (1973-PD)
-7 minor error/variety (MAD, grease, ghost etc.)

The first 19 rolls produced a total of 2 wheats, then in roll 20 I got another 2 almost right next to each other (1 coin between them). After that they started coming more regularly.

Did you check for varieties on the 2009 cents yet?

I'll post a pic of the 19-D in the morning. It's not great, but better than most early Lincolns to be found. And no, I have not variety checked the 2009-Ds yet. I'm not really sure what to look for.
